University of Championships
I realize it has been a while, unfortunately this is my first chance to write since the NCAA Championship was won. No, I have not been avoiding it, as I have mentioned before I will gladly admit when I was wrong.
University of Florida won…again for the second year in a row a team undeserving of the title National Champion has won. I am not diminishing the accomplishment by any means, it is truly an incredible feat. Winning back to back like this is not something that happens every year. So even though I felt there was a myriad of teams which should have been in their position, they won, they beat each team they played and earned their crown. Hats off to the University of Florida.
Something that should not be forgotten is the fact that Florida now holds both the NCAA football and basketball titles at the same time. That is much more impressive than winning back to back championships in my opinion. It speaks volumes for the Gators athletic program. If they have anything to be proud of as a University, it’s that. Enjoy it! That’s my advice because it won’t happen again for a long, long time.
